The Dior Spa Cheval Blanc Paris opened its doors in September within La Samaritaine. It promises the ultimate well-being in every sense: physical, mental and emotional. It also combines the sophisticated worlds of the two brands. Inspired by the intimate feel of a Parisian apartment, the boutique reveals a welcoming lounge in which each object pays tribute to the life of Christian Dior. Dior skincare, make-up and perfume are presented in their stunning packaging, alongside the latest new products from Dior Maison, flagship accessories by Dior Couture and the skincare collections which have been specially developed for Cheval Blanc Paris.
Made for you took up the difficult challenge of combining the two brand’s worlds to create a logo for use on all communication materials.
A logo with a subtle balance
Given that the name of the spa is relatively long, consisting of 5 words, the team wanted to find a subtle and elegant visual balance. The typographies of the 2 brands’ logos are combined to create a sophisticated but streamlined logo.
The word “SPA” is subtly added in the background, while the word “Paris” is shown underneath, slightly set apart. The combination of different sizes and colors creates a subtle balance, creating a logo which is legible and sleek.
